Yunnan overview

About Yunnan

Yunnan is China's most ethnically diverse province, home to snow-capped mountains, terraced farmland and some of the country's best-preserved ancient towns. Lijiang's cobbled canal streets and Dali's lakeside old town are the highlights of most itineraries.

Because it spans Kunming, Lijiang and Dali, Yunnan usually needs a longer, multi-city stretch — we build these as looped itineraries with domestic flights or road transfers between each town.
