China's High-Speed Bullet Train Experience
China's high-speed railway network is itself an attraction — smooth, punctual and scenic, it connects major cities in a fraction of the time of road travel. We arrange bullet train tickets and station transfers as part of your itinerary, on routes such as:
Beijing Shanghai
Shanghai Hangzhou
Guangzhou Shenzhen
Guangzhou Guilin
Guangzhou Hong Kong
Guangzhou Changsha
...and other routes according to your itinerary. Just tell us your cities and dates and we'll build the train connections around your trip.
Transportation
Choose transportation according to your comfort and group size.
Food Support
Food is an important part of a comfortable international holiday. Preferences should be communicated before the itinerary is finalised.
Language & Interpretation
Language should never prevent you from enjoying China or conducting business.
Practical Tips for Travelling in China
A few essentials to keep in mind before you go — our team will brief you on the specifics once your itinerary is confirmed.
Money & Payments
The Chinese Yuan (RMB) is the local currency. Mobile payment apps are used almost everywhere, so carrying some cash and a couple of international cards as backup is a good idea, especially outside major hotels.
Connectivity
A local SIM, eSIM or portable WiFi device is recommended for maps, translation and messaging on the go. We can advise on the best option for your itinerary and duration of stay.
Electricity & Plugs
China runs on 220V with a mix of plug types, including two- and three-pin sockets. A universal travel adapter covers all the sockets you're likely to encounter.
Local Etiquette
A respectful, patient approach goes a long way. Tipping is not a common practice in mainland China, and dining and greeting customs can vary by region — our guides and interpreters can brief you as needed.
Visa & Entry
Visa requirements depend on your nationality, travel purpose and current Chinese immigration rules. Visit our China Visa page or talk to our team for guidance specific to your trip.
Health & Safety
Travel insurance is recommended for every trip. Keep your hotel address written in Chinese for taxis, drink bottled or boiled water, and keep a copy of your passport and visa handy at all times.
