Chongqing
The spectacular mountain city of China.
About Chongqing
Built across steep hills where the Yangtze and Jialing rivers meet, Chongqing is one of the most visually dramatic cities in China — stilted buildings stacked over cliffs, a monorail that runs straight through a residential tower, and a skyline best seen after dark.
It also makes an excellent gateway for a Yangtze River cruise. We combine city sightseeing with cruise bookings, hotpot dinners and onward bullet-train connections to Chengdu or Xi'an.
